Rafting on Aries
Who wants to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Apuseni Mountains, Aries river is ideal for him. We recommend this river even for families with children.
Aries river has its rise in the Bihor Mountains, passes trough the Apuseni Mountains and flows into the Mures river. It is a 164 km long river. The water level allowes us to organize paddling trips even in summer using 2 seated inline rafts.
We usually use 2-3 person in-line rafts for this area during the summer, bigger rafting boats are used only in the springtime.
Trips: Between Salciua and Ocolis, length 13 km , approx 2,5-3 hrs, if needed we can organize even 3-4 day long paddling trip on Aries
Difficulty level: WW I-(II)(easy)
This trip can be easily connected to an ebike adventure organized by us.
Our team was the first from Romania which organized rafting trips on Aries river starting from 2008.
Depending on water levels we use 2 or 7 person boats.
